DESIGN FEATURES
Single-stage, horizontal centrifugal punps, of the close-coupled
type for small HP ratings (up to 7.5 KW), or mounted
on base plates for any HP rating. In the base plate
- mounted version, the driving motor is connected to
the pump shaft through a flexible coupling and the pump
shaft is mounted on ball bearings lubricated by constant
level oil bath, with provision for heating or cooling.
The pump casing is drop - forged for thick -walled resine;
the impeller has a built-in shaft liner and an inside
metallic frame.
The mechanical seals, of the single external type or
the double type, with injection of flushing liquid,
are supplied by the most reputable manufacturers.
No metal part is in contact with the process liquid.
