DESIGN FEATURES
Vertical centrifugal pumps for wet-pit mounting, of moulded plastic, with independent discharge pipe.
The column is of thick-walled plastic tubular construction. The driving shaft, made of stainless steel faced with a coating of the same resine of the pump, is mounted at one end on radial and thrust ball bearings (protected by a special grease packed labyrinth seal) and, at the other end, on a ceramic sliding bushing and a teflon or graphite bearing.
The motor is connected to the pump through a flexible coupling. The metal parts are protected by an epoxy coating.
No metal part is in contact with the process liquid.
